I love Zephyrhills. I lived there for over 18 years. I am sorry I moved away. I have so many great memories of me growing up and my son growing up.
I miss Zhills and lived there for almost 15 yrs! My Aunt Elsie would take the train from Tarpon Springs to what was known as Abbot Station and would go to Nuekums Drug Store! Stay the summer there with her Auntie!
I have been here for 32 yrs I love the home town feeling and to see some of the people that you went to school with is great ,I was a contestant in the Miss Zhills in 80 and 81 what a great experience ,I graduated in 81 I work at Fla.Medical Clinic and I am a MaryKay consultant I love the Downtown events ,and I know several people here ,and it great to be here. My family moved to Zephyrhills in 1967, and the photo of 619 10th street, is our house which I grew up in. The photo was taken after my Dad closed in the front porch, which was screened. We still live there to this day! Mom is 90 now, and loved the old photos! Happy 100th to my hometown!
Ther is a pic of my Great Grandfather cheif Reuben wells with roy wells and dick green with the first police car this pic was taken in 1942 I have the original with date .
I am searching for original photographs, maybe taken by the city of our home which we purchased a few years ago. Does anyone know where I can find them?
I lived in Zephtrhills for ten years and hated ever minute of it from day one. When I arrived back m my beloved New England, I vowed never to go any further south than New York City and I have kept my promise.
